Tuesday Review – Axis Zombies
Today’s review is the nasty Axis Zombies. These guys are resurrected Nazi soldiers and retain their memories for the most part. They are more like voodoo zombies rather than the plague zombies of Resident Evil or Dawn of the Dead
Pros:
Armor 3
5 Zombies compared to their other armor 3 counterparts
They are nice anti-tank anti-infantry units.
They have damage resilient.
Has fast
Cons:
Pretty Expensive unit that has no shooting
Does not have a cover save
Cannot be joined by any heroes other than fellow Zombies
Tactics:
Move a lot, don’t stop moving. You don’t have a cover save so stay where it blocks LOS all together. If you have him now use the Grenadier X as the hero to join them. Otherwise when he comes to general release use him.

Tuesday Review
So today's review is the Tank Busters for the Allies. These guys are heavy rangers with rocket launchers able to take out a single walker pretty quickly.
Pros:
Armor 3
Move 2
Jump
Has decent antiinfantry and very nice antitank weapons
Has a cover save compard to its zombie counterpart
Cons:
Only has 3 models in the unit compared to it's zombie counterpart
Expensive unit
Half of the AntiInfantry is close combat
Tactic:
Depending on what your opponent has you may want to put OZZ117 in this unit to beef up the woulda for the unit and add some extra short range firepower. I would keep them constantly moving and fire when able to because you never know when the unit will have another chance.

Announcement
I am back online. I've been offline since Hurricane Irene knocked my power out. We have a generator and nothing was damaged. I didn't want to take the chance on have a surge from the generator mess up my computer so I left it offline. If you saw me on FFG forums or BBG forums I was using my iphone.
Now to new business the Tank Buster, Axis Zombies, and the Revised Core Set are out! Get them while you can.
Not sure if this is a rumor or not but there is some talk of the Regular Core Set going away. If this is true folk you need to pick it up if you haven't. While people are arguing that the revised core set is nice, there is only one thing to say about the Regular Core Set, quantity it comes with a ton of walkers squads and 2 heroes that once it gone will not be in production unless FFG makes them separate.
Another Announcement is that there are a ton of people on the filling out the forms for the Player Finder, Store Finder and the Event Finder. If you have not, DO IT!!!!
Since this black out I have also come to the conclusion I need some help with this blog if you would like to post articles or anything don't hesitate to send me an email with your stuff. If you would also like I can make you an admin to be able to post whenever you like. These posts are not steady like mine are but whenever you want. So if you have a game you played and photographed it or have a tutorial on how to paint. I currently have recruited Dan (Dcal12) to post articles when I get this set up he will be posting some.
And finally you'll notice the new look to the blog. at the bottom are links to FFG's pages for each of the 3 Dust Games. There are some more to come with a new banner on the top and some other stuff.

Homegrown Thursday
Today I am making up for last week and posting 2 tanks the IS-3 and the ISU-122. Almost all the IS tanks look the same and have the same attachments so that is why the IS-2 and the IS-3 have the same armaments.

Announcement
So I thought I would do a rumor round up of the 4 new heavy walkers coming out next quarter of the year.
- Allied walkers are armor 7 with 10 wounds
- Allied walkers can transport 6 troops
- Fireball has flamethrower with range 3
- Axis walker that looks like a flak cannon (sorry can't remember its name) is armor 6
- Axis walkers are not transports
- All walkers will take up 4 squares: 2x2
- None will have bases
- Allied walkers can bulldoze tank traps, axis can't.
- It would seem that the configurations have different armor ratings, or maybe one of them has Damage Resilience, cause the text says that the Punisher is the "heaviest walker the Allies ever produced" and that the Sturm- is "less resilient than the Konigs-".
- It seem, in order to make the units more "English friendly" they have broken up the one-word german names with hifens, which now looks quite weird.
- Punisher: Twin 155mm howitzers, two .50 MGs and one .30 MG
- Fireball: Napalm thrower with greater range, two .50s, one .30
- Konigs-Luther: Dual 17.3 cm FpK and some other MG.
- Sturm-Konig: 12.8 cm FlakVierling and some other MG.
- The Fireball is said to have speed as one of its strengths. Could this monstrosity possibly have Fast??!!
- The Sturm-Konig has Advanced Reactive Fire, which I think is where that radar antenna comes in.

Tuesday Review
Today's review is the Axis Gorillas. These fearsome units are a great addition to make a retinue for Markus.
Pros:
Armor 3
Have Fast
Have good anti vehicle and anti infantry
Great in combat.
Cons:
Don't move 2 like the Allies counterparts
Weapons are only combat no range attacks
Only 3 of them (can be easily killed by flame weapons)
Tactics:
Stick them with Markus. The fast will give them an extra movement but also can combine with Markus's Charge that means you can move 3 squares and use all combat weapons.G

Announcement - GenCon
I am not at GenCon Dcal12 and Reptilebro1 are. They have taken photos for us to see.
Also on the dust tactics warfare site some people have noticed the Heavy Armour Kommandotrupps in this picture. They are in the middle left of the photo.
Dcal12 also commented on Dust Warfare.
"It is a 1 to 6" ratio so one movement factor equals six inches
The idea that one side moves all there units before the other, I know is a concern, but reaction keeps both players totally involved.
They have a Tank Damage Table that you refer to when you hit a Walker, that lets you know what damage a walker gets when you hit it. You still roll for armor.
damage is things like:
Suppressed
Blinded
Back up
Weapons Disabled
Crew Killed
Crew Injured
Fire
Ammon Explosion
It also states on the table, subject to change.
Through terrain a walker moves 1/2 movement unless it is moving move - move"
- Axis hero pack: TotenMeister, Stefan and Grenadier X (or whatever the zombie with the saw is called)
- Allies hero pack: Action Jackson, Johnny One-Eye and The Priest (guy in long coat)
Hans has two weapons one is more of a INF weapon and the other is a Armor weapon. But the range is 3 for both of them. It is a Scout Vehicle so two additional squares on round 1.
Heavy Flak Grenadiers have Reload for all three Fliegerfausts. It is also a burst weapon.
Sturmpioniere have Fast and a Flamethrower
Blackhawk has a range of two. All in One and Fast.
Rhino Hero has Berserk
7 of the 8 scenarios are 130points. I know some were concerned with the scenarios getting to big. Makes sense, each side has 130 points of units in the core set. One scenario is just One Squad and One Walker for each side.
The introduction talks about three leading powers:
Allies: USA, British Commonwealth, Brazil and the French colonial empire
Axis: Germany, Japan and Italy
SSU: USSR and China
Then it says "Rumors of alien visitors from another planet and secret weapons abound..."
He also mentions nothing on Russia or Aliens.
As he tells us I'll post it on the forums.
