Today’s review is the Recon Mickey, it is a Dust-Models.com medium walker. It’s an open-topped walker with 4 .50 cal MGs.

Pros:

Has amazing anti infantry weapons with 4 .50 cal MGs

Has Scout ability

Has Artillery Strike ability

Has Fast ability

Has Jump ability

Cons:

Short range weapons

No anti tank weapons

Tactics:

Use to support your tanks against Battle Grenadiers and other anti tank infantry units.

Hobby Wednesday - English Recon

So today's hobby tutorial is pretty simple but allows you to expand your models. I decided to make my Recon Boys look like English Highland Guard. I got the legs and heads from Victoria Miniatures. Just rip off the legs and head off of recon boys and glue these new legs and head. For the

Tuesday Review – Otto

Today’s review is the Otto, it is a Dust-Models.com medium walker. He is a stolen KV47 that the Axis  refitted it with Werfers instead.

Pros:

Has decent anti tank and infantry weapons

Standard walker stats

Hass assault ability

Cons:

Short range weapons

Can only have 1 per force

Tactics:

I’d make him the lead tank for your lighter walkers armor 3 or less. Due to his short range he can be affective for holding an objective or close quarter games.

Tuesday Review – Fury of Ivan

Today’s review is the Fury of Ivan, it is a Dust-Models.com heavy medium walker. He is a stolen Ryu that the Russians couldn’t figure out how to power the lasers so they refitted it with large cannons instead.

Pros:

Has decent anti tank and infantry weapons

Has armor 5

Has 6 wounds

Long range weapons

Cons:

Only has 1 weapon so it can only shoot at 1 target a turn.

Still vulnerable to Napalm weapons

Can only have 1 per force

Tactics:

Since there is no SSU unit stats out yet I would say make him your Jagdluther of the SSU army.

Hobby Wednesday - Laser Grenadier Commander Conversion

Today I thought I would make the Laser Grenadier commander in the new Zverograd Laser Grenadiers from Dust Models.

1) First you'll need the laser grenadier with the knee high boots and a recon commander from another squad.

2) Now take the tops off of both models buy just pulling them. You will be swapping legs with upper torsos.

3) Next cut the backpack and laser off of the laser grenadier. make sure to fully cut off the hand holding the forward grip of the gun.

4) Take the commander torso and cut the gun off of the holding hand.

5) Remove the heads from both models
6) Assemble the Recon torso on the Laser legs.

7) Last glue the backpack on and the gun on the arm. Then put the laser grenadier head on.

Tuesday Review – Ryu

Today’s review is the Ryu, it is a Dust-Models.com heavy medium walker.

Pros:

Has decent anti tank and infantry weapons

Has armor 5

Has 6 wounds

Long range weapons

Has Damage Resilient ability

Cons:

Only has 1 weapon so it can only shoot at 1 target a turn.

Still vulnerable to Napalm weapons

Tactics:

I would put him next to the Jagdluther leading the front line. His lasers should destroy as much as possible.
